What is Pet Family Deals?
Pet Family Deals is a partnership between the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation and the founder of the Denver based charity fundraising website Pawscorp.com.
Designed to raise money for the CVMF, Pet Family Deals helps fund important programs that benefit Colorado residents and their pets through the sale of “daily deals” (like Living Social, Groupon, etc.).
What is the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation?
The Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was created in 2002 to support education, scholarship, and service programs that improve animal health and welfare in Colorado. The involvement of veterinarians makes the foundation unique, allowing it to make the broadest impact on animal health and to offer services and insights that no other group can. In short, the foundation exists to make Colorado a better place for animals and people.
The Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation is headquartered at the CVMF Harrison Center for Animals, where animal lovers of all ages and animal health professionals alike can broaden their understanding of veterinary medicine and celebrate the human-animal bond, and where animal-related organizations can more effectively share both ideas and resources.
Today, CVMF provides a safety net for all of Colorado’s animals. With diverse programs that seek to address an array of animal health and welfare issues, CVMF serves as a consensus builder and a visionary organization ready to lead in the future.
The Colorado Veterinary Medical Association exists to:

· Advance the wellbeing of veterinarians
· Foster excellence in veterinary medicine through education, advocacy, and outreach
The Programs of Colorado Veterinary Medical Association include:
Animal Emergency Management Program – assisting at-risk animals in disasters.
Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital – providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare for
underprivileged pets.
Home Outreach Pet Exams (HOPE) – providing healthcare for pets of home-bound individuals living on
fixed incomes.
Veterinary Care Grants - supplementing a veterinarian’s charitable care for pets of the economically
disadvantaged.
How do I know the services and products which appear on Pet Family Deals are safe for my pet?
Every deal featured on Pet Family Deals is approved by the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association’s deal approval committee. The deal approval committee includes DVMs (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), certified applied animal behaviorists and industry experts made available through the CVMA’s respected network of non-profit associations, organizations and individuals in professional practice. The care and treatment of pets and animals is ultimately the responsibility of their human counterparts. The Pet Family Deals Deal Approval Committee was established to provide a much needed body of accredited veterinary expertise to inform and educate the public about issues concerning pet related "daily deals."
Website Functionality
How does a typical daily deal transaction take place on Pet Family Deals?
In a typical group buying scenario subscribers commit to buying a particular deal and wait until every available deal coupon is sold before being charged for the deal. When a deal “tips” individuals who purchased the deal are charged and a QR coded receipt (QR codes are similar to bar codes; any smart phone can read a QR code with a QR reader "app" installed), which is used to redeem the deal at the business, is emailed to the customer. Our group buying platform enables businesses to attract new clients through a combination of deep discounts and new customer relationships. Pet Family Deals allows businesses to run daily deals for a specific period of time (Main Deal) or indefinitely (Anytime Deal).

What are my payment options?
We accept PayPal, American Express, Master Card, Visa and Discover. All payment methods require a U.S. billing address. For your protection, your credit card number is safely transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault, and never stored on our servers.
How can I check the status of my order?
You can log in to your Pet Family Deals account and check your order history and verify if your order went through. Please click on “my transactions” after you’re logged in to check if your order was completed (if you’re not sure whether or not it was processed).
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, we are unable to change or cancel an order once it has been submitted. We highly encourage customers to do all of their “comparison shopping” before placing an order with Pet Family Deals. If the deal you purchased offers size or color options please click the link in the “Fine Print” section of the deal to make your selections. These links are deal specific and can’t be used to modify other deals! No exceptions!
What about Duplicate Charges?
Credit card company’s address verification (AVS) issues are quite often the cause of duplicate charges. Most AVS mismatch issues are due to banks and issuing credit card companies having an old address on file. If this happens, the bank often puts a hold on the charge which will be dropped once they see the order didn’t go through. You will not be charged for a duplicate order. Shipping
What are my shipping options?
We ship by common carrier, mostly UPS and USPS, and do not offer any specialized shipping options.
How long will it take to receive a shipment?
Delivery times vary from item to item. Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days but, on rare occasions, some orders can take up to 10 days. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. This tracking number may take a few days to update so please keep this in mind if your number does not work immediately. The tracking number will allow you to check the delivery status of your order. Delivery times vary between 3 to 14 business days. We do our very best to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. If a shipment happens to be delayed it’s most likely because an item was out of stock from the manufacturer. We will do everything possible to notify you if there are unexpected wait times for products; the savings we offer is well worth the wait.
How are your shipping charges tabulated?
The price of shipping is always included in the price of the deal. We tabulate the shipping charges based on each item in the deal. We always try to combine items into fewer packages when possible to reduce shipping charges, however, as you’ll find when comparing prices online – our shipping prices are commensurate with any online retailer.
How do I ship to an address other than my billing address?
If you'd like to use a ship to address that is different from you billing address, please use PayPal when processing your order.
Do you ship outside the United States?
No, we don’t ship outside of the United States at this time.

What is the response time to a member inquiry?
Our response time varies between 1 to 3 business days depending on the volume of e-mails. We have a dedicated customer service staff that carefully reviews each and every e-mail.
